Study Trip to Berlin with Schiphol travel, KLM and Marriott Global Sales: A Journey of Inspiration and Connection

In a joint initiative by KLM and Marriott Global Sales, a select group of travel and hospitality professionals of Schiphol Travel embarked on an inspiring study trip to Berlin. The journey was designed to foster connection, showcase premium hospitality experiences, and explore the vibrant character of one of Europe’s most dynamic cities.

Day 1: From Schiphol to Berlin’s Historic Heart

The group gathered at Schiphol Airport, where they were welcomed with a smooth security process and access to the exclusive KLM Crown Lounge — the perfect setting to relax and connect before departure.

The journey continued aboard KLM flight KL1775 to Berlin. Upon arrival, a private transfer brought the group to the elegant Westin Grand Berlin. Here, participants enjoyed a delicious lunch and a guided site inspection, experiencing the hotel’s blend of classic charm and modern comfort.

After lunch, the group made their way to the Courtyard by Marriott Berlin City Center, where they were welcomed with a smile. Following a pleasant walk along some of Berlin’s must-see sights, the day concluded with a site inspection of the Courtyard property, followed by a shared dinner — a great opportunity to reflect and network.

Day 2: Exploring Berlin by Bike and Boutique Hospitality

The second day began with breakfast at the Courtyard, followed by an alternative bike tour through Berlin. This immersive experience combined iconic landmarks with lesser-known local gems, offering a fresh perspective on the city.

Next, the group visited the stylish Roomers Berlin Steinplatz, Autograph Collection, where they enjoyed lunch in the serene courtyard and a guided tour of the hotel. The property’s bold design and boutique atmosphere left a lasting impression.

After a smooth flight home on KLM flight KL1780, we said our goodbyes and looked back on a very successful and fun trip.
